Mr. Keith Brown founded Keith Brown Lumber Yard in 1928
and established his first store in Salem, Oregon. The
corporation that exists today still retains his name.

The Company has continued to grow over the years and
serves the retail customer, remodelers, professional
homebuilders and commercial contractors by supplying
quality building materials with excellent customer service.
Yard locations are along the I-5 corridor in Oregon and the
San Joaquin Valley in Central California.

A door shop was added at the Salem location in 1979 which
supplies quality doors and specializes in custom millwork and
on-site delivery.

Keith Brown Bargain Shed was opened in Salem in 1981
where customers can purchase quality building materials at
discount prices. This division also specializes in unfinished furniture and floor coverings.

The Company continued to expand with the opening of Keith Brown Building Materials in Corvallis, Oregon in 1994. This is a full service facility and is well situated to serve customers in the locality as well as Eugene and the Central Oregon Coast.

In 2000 the Company purchased several operations from Copeland Lumber that added facilities across Oregon and Central California with yards in Portland, Molalla, Medford, Tracy, Modesto, Oakdale, Madera, Visalia and Lindsay.

In 2001 the Company moved the corporate office to its current location in Salem, Oregon. The new facility houses our new state-of-the-art computer systems.

The parent corporation for Keith Brown Building Materials was formed in 2002 and is known as KB Pacific, LLC.

Currently Keith Brown Building Materials owns and operates ten full service lumber yards in Oregon and California, and a discount building material outlet.
